Believing in healing and not receiving it is one of the hardest places in faith. These verses are honest about it.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 (KJV)“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
Psalm 34:18 (KJV)Paul's answer is one of the most difficult in Scripture: My grace is sufficient — not My healing is coming, but My grace is sufficient for the condition remaining. This isn't an argument against praying for healing; Paul asked three times. It's an acknowledgment that sometimes the answer is a different kind of provision than the one requested. The power of Christ resting on weakness isn't a consolation prize. It's a different category of miracle than the one you asked for.
