When a role, relationship, or season that defined you ends, the question of who you are can feel wide open. These verses are for that disorienting place.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”
1 John 3:1 (KJV)“But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
Isaiah 43:1 (KJV)Galatians 2:20 describes an identity that was rebuilt from the foundation — not just a role added on top of the old self, but a new center of gravity entirely: Christ living in me. Isaiah 43:1 gives you the most foundational identity statement possible: I have called you by name, you are Mine. That belongs to you regardless of what title, role, or relationship just changed. You are not primarily a job title, a marital status, or a stage of life. You are someone called by name.
