The desire for a life partner is a good and real desire. These verses hold space for it without rushing you past it.

“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
Psalm 37:4 (KJV)
“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”
Genesis 2:18 (KJV)“House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.”
Proverbs 19:14 (KJV)Genesis 2:18 is God Himself saying it is not good for the person to be alone — which means the longing for a partner isn't a spiritual deficiency to overcome. It was named by God as a real need before sin entered the picture. Psalm 37:4 doesn't promise that delighting in God removes the desire — it promises that God responds to the desires of the one who is genuinely seeking Him. Your longing is not in conflict with your faith. It's something you can bring to God directly.
