Big decisions can be paralyzing. These verses are for the ones where the right answer isn't obvious.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
James 1:5 (KJV)
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)“What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.”
Psalm 25:12 (KJV)James 1:5 is one of the most accessible promises in Scripture — if you lack wisdom, ask. The promise comes with a striking qualifier: God gives liberally and without reproach. He doesn't roll His eyes at you for not knowing. He doesn't make you feel foolish for needing guidance. The asking itself is the right response to not knowing, and the giving is guaranteed to anyone who asks in faith.
