Today I realized something re. These verses: Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. These verses speak to salvation, healing deliverance and everything that comes with it. So if we accept Christ as our saviour and have faith that we are saved and being saved, why is it so hard to believe and receive healing? It is a complete package. We take the salvation and then say oh the healing has expired ...it's not for our time yada yada but if we do that then the same rule should apply for salvation. Jesus' sacrifice covered everything. Can we then say with confidence we are saved or that we received salvation while also confidently claiming healing? Why do I hear 'healing is the children's bread'?
