Job 17:13-16 NIV “If the only home I hope for is the grave, if I spread out my bed in the realm of darkness, if I say to corruption, ‘You are my father,’ and to the worm, ‘My mother’ or ‘My sister,’ where then is my hope— who can see any hope for me? Will it go down to the gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?”” INSIGHT 📌Job was surrounded by suffering and could barely see a way forward, yet his questions reveal how deeply he was searching for hope. 📌He asks, “Where then is my hope?” because he understood that if death was the only thing left to hope for, there would be no hope at all. 📌Circumstances can become so overwhelming that hope itself can feel distant. 📌But my hope must never be anchored in my circumstances. 📌🙏🏾My hope is in God, the Rock of Ages. DEED ✅When I cannot see a way forward, I will deliberately place my hope in God and remind myself of His faithfulness. ✅I may not understand what He is doing, but I will hold on to Him. ✅🙏🏾Lord, when I cannot see hope, help me remember that You are my hope and keep me anchored in You, my Rock of Ages. Amen
