What if the purpose God has for us actually is meant to sit inside our soul? Can you imagine putting a big lasagna into a container with holes in it? A container that has something in it already? Or that is as weak as a paper plate from the dollar store? Yes, that sounds like a whole lot of cleaning up, huh! Capacity is something that's given to us by God. And in order to continue with our purpose He created us with, well, we have to have capacity that only He can give. Did you know that you can also have different fuel in your tank? Ohh yes, you can. You can use self-hate. You can use anger. Even rejection to accomplish goals. But let me tell you, I can guarantee you will not be happy once you are done. How do I know? Because I've been there. I asked myself, why was I able to lift weights at 4 a.m. and do it again later that night, 7 days straight? Why was I able to train myself to run a whole marathon? Simple answer, I had gas in the tank. But it was not the right kind. It's fuel. It will get you there. But along the way, that will cause damage. Anxiety, depression, identity issues. You name it. I truly believe our souls are the tanks, and the Lord is our fuel and capacity. Or at least He should be our fuel. What is in your tank?
