*What's worth rejoicing about?* It's when I think things aren't moving fine for me, then God repeatedly stops me in the track of that thinking and tells me, _"No, things are actually going well for you."_ I know I'm human and my faith may fail sometimes. I know I cannot see spiritually as much as God does; and God might decide to not show me some things anyway. So, sometimes I do judge things about my life based on the circumstances surrounding me. But getting to know that my life is actually going the way God intends; and that I am in good standing with Him... that's something worth rejoicing about. It comforts me knowing that God is working things out for me behind the scenes. *What does God say is actually foolish and deadly to rejoice about?* It's when we have this sense of achievement and satisfaction; believing we are doing well, but in God's eyes we are beyond miserable. That's a dangerous place to be, and God cautions against it: *Revelation 3:17* _You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked._ It's always better and safer when the former is the case.
