The following does not violate community guidelines as this person has a public platform and made his comments publicly. Some of you may or may not have heard of this. But it's egregious and shocking!! This post follows our discussion on people who are frequent fliers to hell. Listen to what he said happened to Jesus in hell. 😡😡 Pastor Otha Turnbough, senior pastor of Lionheart Church in Atlanta, in a sermon concerning what happened to Jesus in hell after His crucifixion have sparked criticism from some Christian communities. While Turnbough argued that his comments were an interpretation of the full spiritual weight Jesus took on, online critics and theologians have strongly condemned the graphic details he added that go far beyond standard biblical narrative. His recent claims about Jesus' three days in hell includes: Extreme Torment and Isolation: Turnbough claimed that Jesus was separated from God the Father, stripped of His strength, and spent three days burning in unquenchable fire while weeping and gnashing His teeth. Physical and Demonic Degradation: He asserted that Jesus went to hell "spiritually dead" with the "nature of Satan". He went on to say that Jesus was eaten by maggots from within and heavily implied that Jesus suffered graphic, unspeakable sexual violations and molestation by demons while in hell. Spiritual Rebirth: He stated that Jesus had to be "born again" while in hell after paying the price for every sin. Questions: 1. Is he mad?!! 2. Is this blasphemy?!! 3. If you heard heresies like this from your church, would you get up and leave (loudly or quietly)?!! Side note: He has made a lot more foolish comments and teachings like this and in my opinion is a false believer and teacher.
