One thing God has taught me in my walk with Him so far, is that being called & Anointed by Him *doesn't mean you can throw yourself into anything.* The president of a nation, though well-armed and protected, doesn’t start inviting assassins to come test their bullets on him. An experienced warrior in the kingdom of God knows they can't jump into just any battle, simply because they have the Anointing and they can pray. They know which battle to put their hands on, and which to avoid. Even when you are filled & drenched in the Holy Spirit, you are not going to drag the Holy Spirit into every battle. The same Holy Spirit will tell you 'not to touch that.' God will advise you to not look for trouble. The fact that you are Anointed doesn't mean you should be the one to go step on the toes of an agent of darkness who is minding their business. This is not fear, but *wisdom in spiritual warfare.* You cannot just wake up and start pulling God into new battles. Lest you'll be like a clueless child who picks up serpents, fills their mouth with sand and plays with broken bottles. _Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”_ - *Matthew 4:7* There are Believers who are currently caught in spiritual battles they jumped into by their own will. Even if God has mercy and helps them, they won't come out unscathed. Someome tells you, _“there is a demon fighting me every night.”_ You start fighting the demon. Did God instruct you to do exactly that? Someome tells you: _“My brother is suffering from alcoholism.”_ You ask for their brother's name and start fighting the spirit of alcoholism on his behalf. Sometimes the man isn't even saved and is still drinking. Intercession is powerful. But true intercessors also know and stay within their boundaries. They are humans too with their own life to live, and they need to survive to keep interceding. There is wisdom and precautions in spiritual warfare. You need both.
