You know, we really have no right to fear anything. JESUS literally fed thousands with a few bread and fish, which means we can do it too because HE said that we will do works like HIS and even greater. HE also scolded HIS disciples so many times for their lack of faith. GOD was with them, GOD was their authority yet they were behaving like they had no authority or right. No wonder this irritated JESUS so much. Imagine you're a police officer and the sergeant tells you to go arrest this person or sort out this dispute but you sit around and say ''oh, I don't know if 'serg would like that, or 'i don't want to go against 'serg will/orders, oh I don't want to be insubordinate and bring glory to myself, oh I don't think yada yada.....your sergeant literally gave you orders to go arrest the person and sort out the dispute. You sitting on your derriere making excuses is insubordination. You're disobeying. Now let's apply that to CHRIST. Matt 28:19 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matt 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Our standing orders. See why GOD is upset by lack of faith? To not go out and do those things like the soldiers /authorities we are is actually disobedience. Remember that centurion who told JESUS that he understood HIS authority so HE need only say the word and his servant would be healed? That's why JESUS appreciated his faith so much, the centurion understood that hierarchy of authority. Matt 8:5-13
