I am tired 😫 😩 of hearing people attribute everything to God. I had to look into this trend. The terms that explain this exhausting trend are: 1. "God of the gaps": This is a famous theological and philosophical term. It describes the habit of using "God" as a default explanation for anything science or human reason cannot currently explain. When something happens that someone doesn't understand, they simply say, "God did it.🥴 2. "Hyper-providentialism: The belief that every single microscopic event—from a car crash to dropping a piece of toast 😆 —is directly, intentionally orchestrated by God's providence, rather than the result of free will, nature, or random chance. 3. Occasionalism: A philosophical theory stating that created things (like humans or nature) cannot actually cause anything to happen on their own.🙄 Instead, God is the only true cause of every single event in the universe. Everything is 'God did this or God did that'. Argh
