TRUE versus TRUTH❤️‍🔥 The Acts 16:16-18 Paul and Silas Imprisoned Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour. I have learnt that there is a difference between something being TRUE and something coming from TRUTH. A thing can be true but not come from Truth. It come from Falsehood What did I learn? Just because what was said or done either by a Preacher,prophet, pastor or just a person was True, doesnt mean that the source was The Spirit of Truth, The Holy Spirit!So the girl with the spirit of divination what she was speaking was TRUE, but the source was False. So before Paul celebrated the praise of being called a servant of God, He waited and discernment already told him it was a spirit from the pits of hell.So before we celebrate in our lives prophecies, miracles, money,healings etc, the Holy Spirit through His gift of discernment should minister to us whether these came from Him, and if they havent, we reject them immediately in the Name of Jesus Christ. Not everything that is good is from God. Some traps come coated in honey but underneath are shells coated with Poison!! Ask the Holy Spirit before anything!
